We had a fantastic Celebration Event on Sunday 27th September to mark the completion of Phase 1 of the conversion works to the gifted house and the handing over of the new one bedroomed almshouse to a new resident – rain did not stop play! – a sincere THANK YOU to everyone that attended, along with everyone who has donated their time, money and/or labour to our new almshouses project. We are so very lucky to have such a caring and generous community in Warmington.
Also a big thank you to our existing almshouses residents for all their help and support too. We know that you will welcome new residents with open arms.
We raised nearly £500 on Sunday which will all go towards the completion of Phase 2. We are still very much fundraising, so if you are able to support then check out our Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/two-homes-for-warmington
Here are a selection of photos from Sunday – thanks Lester Milbank for these!
